PharmaTrack: hardware-free QR attendance for 700+ pharmacy students
Paper rollcalls were slow and gave faculty no real-time visibility. We built hardware-free QR attendance with live dashboards. Now 700+ students check in daily with zero hardware cost.

The problem
The University of San Agustin College of Pharmacy needed a secure, hardware-free method to monitor event and class attendance across 700+ pharmacy students. Manual paper rollcalls were slow, prone to cutoff errors, and provided zero real-time visibility for faculty administrators.
What we built
CDG engineered a high-performance web platform featuring instant personal student QR code scanning and automatic attendance status derivation (Present, Late, Absent, Incomplete) derived from event time windows. Built real-time faculty dashboards, admin approval workflows, email alerts, PDF/Excel report exports, and an IndexedDB offline scan fallback for facilitators operating without Wi-Fi.
The impact
Replaced manual paper rollcalls with 100% automated attendance status derivation, onboarded 700+ pharmacy students with $0 physical hardware cost, and provided immediate roster visibility for department faculty.
